White Rack
White Rack aka Szerpiko was born in Budapest, in 1985. Hi gained his first musical impressions from his fathers collection, which contained pieces of Kraftwerk (Komputerwelt), Yello (Flag) or Jean Michel Jarre. These were the foundations of his devotion towards music. At a young age he tasted the styles of hip-hop, house, classical music, rock, alternative music, OSTs..
Techno came in secondary school, which was the main reason of attending some warehouse parties and as this period passed away, the smaller hidden clubs and parties piqued his interest. At the time the minimalist electronic music was emerging and in which he also found his taste. Bought his first record in 2007 followed by many others in different sounds. Later stood behind decks with the support of one of his friends. After practicing in his bedroom and friends parties received some clubs invitations: Mono, Merlin, Dexion, Alkotótábor. He also spinned his recs at Justmusic.fm and Tilos radio.
Freakyhouse team welcomed him in 2008. Nowadays he plays deep, dubby and tech house by turns. The dirty, more joyful, jazzy street beatdown or slow house, barded by some disco. represents the other extreme. He summarizes once in each year his experimental, darker, ambient, noise and broken electronic records allowing more space for the thinking and not dance oriented mood.
Motto: “Never forget where you came from, respect the friends who help you, be submissive to Music and to the audience!”
